The Gillett’s Cottage – Self Catering in Charney Bassett, Oxfordshire
The Gillett’s Cottage, a separate building in the grounds of Charney Manor, can accommodate 8 guests. It has 5 bedrooms over two floors: 3 twin and two single rooms. The Gillett’s Cottage can be used as overflow accommodation for large residential groups of 35 guests or more.
This spacious retreat comfortably hosts up to 8 guests, ideal for small groups, families, or walkers. With sweeping views of the sheep paddock and surrounding countryside, it provides an excellent base for exploring.
Charney Manor is surrounded by 3 acres of beautiful grounds that include mature trees, horse paddock, a secret garden, a fruit orchard and tranquil sitting areas, which all guests are welcome to explore and enjoy.
Guests at Charney Manor can enjoy a variety of local countryside walks, as well as visit several nearby places of interest. These include the White Horse Hill located in Uffington, Wayland’s Smithy and the historic Kelmscott Manor.
