Loch Tay Highland Lodges - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Perth and Kinross

Our holiday lodges & glamping options are situated in the central highlands on the shores of Loch Tay, Scotland. We are based within Perthshire, in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland surrounded by mountains, lochs and rivers yet still within easy driving distance of Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow. With the scenic village of Killin and the picturesque Falls of Dochart just a short drive away; Loch Tay Highland Lodges offer the perfect self catering accommodation for your holiday in Scotland.

Loch Tay Highland Lodges are delighted to welcome pets in a number of holiday lodges, woodland cabins and glamping glamping pod. It is a wonderful location take your four legged friend with some wonderful local walks available.

We currently have two properties which are pet friendly and have hot tubs, but plan to add more. Our Woodland Cabins with Hot Tubs (Pet) and Eldersburn Lodge are featured below for more information.



Loch Tay stretches 15 miles from the popular village of Killin with the spectacular Falls of Dochart to beautiful Kenmore at the other end. It offers many great dog walking opportunities with something for everyone from well marked short circular trails to some superb adventurous hikes in the Highlands.

One of the most popular is up in the hill behind Loch Tay or you can be more aventurous and walk up Ben Lawers - the tenth highest Munro in Scotland. This peak is the highest point of the ridge of mountains on the north side of Loch Tay. There is a car park ,which offers great views and this is an excellent startpoint to begin the ascent from, and this is one of the most popular hills in Scotland.



Take the car up to the picturesque hamlet of Fortingall and take a stroll in the lovely Glen Lyon. It hosts some of the finest glen scenery in the region combining woodlands, pastures and dams.

All of our standard glamping pod and woodland cabins are pet friendly as well some of our 2 & 3 bedroom highland lodges.

When searching for availability there is an option to refine your holiday search options to all show pet friendly lodges and glamping accommodation available. If you select this option it will show all pet friendly accommodation available for the dates you have selected.



There is a small charge of £30.00 / week or short break to bring your pet to stay with you.

With superb walks from your doorstep, great range of watersports available, disc golf, archery and excellent fishing there is something for everyone to enjoy at Loch Tay Highland Lodges.
