Acacia Farm Campsite - Dog Friendly Campsite In Axbridge, Somerset

Welcome to Acacia Farm Camping and Touring. We are proud to share our large, open, grassy family-run campsite with you. We are situated in the heart of Somerset, close to Cheddar Gorge, on the outskirts of the beautiful Somerset village of Rooksbridge.

We offer a number of different camping options whether you are a caravan enthusiast or a dedicated sleep-under-the-stars camper, you will find a warm welcome and all the conveniences and facilities you require.

From our beautiful rural location, you can explore the Somerset countryside on foot, by bicycle or motor vehicle. You will find we are close to all that Somerset has to offer, why not check out the sights and attractions of the local area.

If you are seeking a pitch for your caravan or motorhome, we can offer you hard standing pitches, electric hook-ups and more than enough room for oversized recreational vehicles, touring caravans, motor homes and campervans.

For those who prefer life under canvass, we offer expanses of grass in which to pitch, bathroom facilities and a utility room.

As well as our camping and touring pitches, we are now proud to offer Acacia Cabin, our cosy wood cabin with private facilities and all the comforts of home. We also have a traditional Mongolian Yurt available which makes a unique glamping style alternative and is surprisingly spacious.

Being a Somerset smallholding, we love animals and your well-behaved pets are welcomed with open arms. We boast an eight acre dog walking field with great views and plenty of space to tire them out!

You’ll find us just a short drive from the M5, close to the wonderful village of Rooksbridge, rural enough to become lost in Somerset’s beauty but close enough to pop to the shops for some tea.

Our Meadow Field, next door to the main camping area, is perfect for rallys or groups seeking a space to call your own. There are great views across to Brent Knoll, a large hardstanding, eight electric hook-ups and no marked pitches so your group can be positioned in your desired layout.

Dog walk fieldThe Meadow Field is also a great place to exercise your canine companions (or children), all we ask is that you keep them on a lead and clean up after them.
