Six self catering dog friendly holiday cottages in a superb secluded south facing location with lovely gardens set amid 18 acres in Exmoor National Park. The holiday cottages are 1,000 foot above sea level at the head of the Quarme Valley... a very special place.. abundant wildlife... fresh air... stars in the sky..

Little Quarme Cottages are approached by a quarter-mile private drive and offer you peace and tranquility in a traffic free, secure environment with panoramic southerly views across Exmoor.  There are stunning views down the Quarme Valley where you can occasionally spot wild Exmoor red deer basking in the evening sunshine and buzzards soaring overhead.

Little Quarme is located within walking distance across the fields of Wheddon Cross village which has a popular pub and well-stocked village shop.  Other easily accessible landmarks include Dunkery Beacon (a lovely long walk from LQ), Dunster (7 miles), Porlock (7 miles) and Minehead (9 miles).

Each self-catering cottage has a small garden or patio with garden furniture amid well-kept larger gardens and grounds where guests are free to roam. Little Quarme is child friendly with plenty of outdoor space to roam. Please be aware that there is a pond in the gardens so children must be supervised. The cottages are a perfect base for walking & cycling holidays as well as being dog friendly.  We can also offer stabling or grazing for horses.

It is the largest cottage in floor area.  Patio with garden furniture.  Stable Cottage has one king and one twin room.  The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine as well as full oven, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Winsford Cottage faces east and west and though our smallest cottage, it's cosy, intimate and very popular.  The small cottage style garden faces east and south and has garden furniture and lovely views down the Quarme Valley.  The bedroom has a double bed. The kitchen has full oven as well as a kettle, toaster and microwave. Parking is just around the corner in the car park.

Exford Cottage faces east and west has the largest cottage garden with a wide flower border. The garden has lovely views and is equipped with garden furniture.  The bedroom has twin beds.  The kitchen has full oven as well as a kettle, toaster and microwave. Parking is just around the corner in the car park.
