Mizar
Mizar is the ultimate romantic retreat, a secluded shack surrounded by towering trees and complete tranquillity. Just 300m from the parking area, its hidden position makes it a true escape from the everyday. With scenic walking and cycling trails on the doorstep, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Hanchurch Hills. The highlight of Mizar is its private outdoor bath, sunk into the deck for unforgettable evenings beneath the stars. After a day of adventures, unwind in total peace with only birdsong and rustling leaves for company. Despite its seclusion, you’re just a short stroll from the award-winning Fitzherbert Arms and the cosy Mainwaring Arms. Mizar brings together nature, design and comfort for a stay that feels truly unique.

Alcor
Alcor is a brand-new shack tucked away in the woods, with wide parkland views and an air of mystery — only those with the right directions will find it. Beyond the seclusion, you’ll discover fantastic pubs and adventures within walking distance. Step outside and you’re already in Swynnerton Old Park, with miles of trails for hiking, running, and cycling. After a day outdoors, head to the Fitzherbert Arms, voted Staffordshire’s best pub, or the Mainwaring Arms for hearty food and a warm welcome.
