East Anglian Dog Training & Grooming - Dog trainer and groomer in and around Bury St. Edmunds and Catley Cross
We offer a wide range of services all designed to have a positive effect on you and your dog’s relationship.
We teach you how to make the most of your dog’s ability in a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment.
All our classes are held outside so we can teach your dog to focus on you with real life distractions; no walking around in circles at the local Village Hall for us!
We offer the chance to spend an hour and a half a week to enjoy learning together.
Group sessions are run with a usual maximum of 8 dogs per class and with up to 3 experienced instructors per class, you and your dog will get the attention you both deserve.
One to one training
Our 121 training sessions are ideal for people who want to concentrate on a couple of specific areas of their dog’s training and behaviour. Or if you are unable to commit to weekly training classes, then our 121 sessions may be a more practical option. 121 training sessions are tailored to suit the exact needs and requirements of you and your dog. These types of sessions are also better suited to dogs that are nervous or reactive in a group scenario. 121 sessions last approximately 1.5hrs, during which we will obtain a full history and discuss your requirements at length. We would observe and report on existing pet behaviour and support you with a tailored training programme to improve on issues highlighted.
We offer Group Dog Training Classes with a view to getting the most out of your family pet. We run everything from beginners to advanced classes and also agility and flyball classes. We limit the number of dogs per class to ensure you and your dog gets the attention you deserve.
Each of our group training classes lasts 1.5hours, with a 15 minute tea break in the middle, where you are encouraged to ask questions and chat with other like minded dog owners.
“My one year old little Lhasapoo and I have been attending the Rattlesden class since he was three months old. Not only has it taught both him and me good dog behaviour but it has also been extremely enjoyable. The trainers are excellent and Mungo delights in the opportunity to socialise with other dogs of all sizes. I thoroughly recommend the classes.”

“Bertie, my Cockapoo has known these ladies since he was 14 weeks and attended puppy classes. He’s now a fully fledged member of the day care group and loves it. Brilliant service, absolute dog lovers and highly recommended. He even gets a groom every six weeks whilst at day care which saves me time! ”

“The puppy classes have really helped to calm down and socialise our dog, when she started she didn't know how to behave around dogs and was quite rough but now she is much more gentle and she listens to us really well. I would recommend these classes to everyone :) ”
“I would like to say the 121 we had with our dog billy, with sarah was very productive and we got some good pointers in how to deal with the problem we are having with him. would like to say was all very relaxed and calm and very helpful. would recommend .”

“My puppy Chester and I have been attending puppy classes since he was four months old . The girls have transformed him and how he behaves he was crazy and very bouncy and is now still full of fun but knows how to behave with other dogs plus he loves to learn all the commands, my daughter and I have learnt so very much. I can’t imagine not going every week we both love it and all the girls are fantastic. Plus any problems you have they really help . ”
