“My husband, my Mum and her dog and I stayed for the weekend in the house and various other members of our family visited during the time we were there. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed every minute. The hamper was delicious and the whole place was extremely well appointed. Look forward to returning at some point.”

- Lesley

“What a lovely long weekend we have just had at Woodfarm House. We had an amazing greeting from John who made us feel at home straight away . The grandchildren enjoyed the space and the dogs loved the meadow and dozing in front of the log fire in the evenings. We will return to this beautiful house in the future and strongly recommend a break here in the Suffolk countryside. Thank you to Carl and his team”

- Christine Darby

“My husband and so came for half term with our three dogs and we were all made very welcome by John who greeted us on arrival. We stayed in the Orwell which had a very secluded garden, perfect for our nervous dog. The secure paddock was a god send as my husband had a fall just days before arriving meaning dog walking duties were left to me so was very handy as I needed to make several trips. The barn itself was lovely, the covered area in the garden with hot tub and was lovely at night with the candles lit and champagne on ice! The one thing hubby could do was man the fire and the log burner was also very cosy. There’s so much to do here and we have to go back as the most I could manage was repeat trips to the pharmacy! We’ve booked again for February and are looking forward to it.”

- Emma

“We all had a good week, Carl was very helpful and gave us a great welcome. Lots to do and places to see taken form the guides and lefalets provided. We will definitely be back! Thank you”

“Very quirky cottage. We and the dog Louis had a lovely time. Bracing walks on Aldeburgh beach. Great local pubs. Really enjoyed the Victoria and the Four Horseshoes. Will certainly return ”

- Judy and Charlie with Louis the dog

“Another great weekend and Woodfarm Barns! The farmhouse is beautiful and such a comfy homely house. As usual Carl has thought of everything we could possibly need. After purchasing some meat from Neaves of Debenham, we would seriously recommend you visit them as we had steaks and bacon cured in Guiness and Treacle and a great leg of lamb for Sunday lunch. The Aga was an experience but produced some great meals to enjoy in the dining room! 2 trips to the Deli at the Chilli Farm to purchase brownies to die for and mouth-watering Binham Blue cheese. We had a lovely afternoon stroll round Aldeburgh and the local dog walks were enjoyed by humans and canine. All in all a perfect weekend and we'll be back for more! Thank you Carl. See you next year. PS sorry about all the additional more than usual beer and wine bottles for recycling!”

- Lee, Jo, Sean and Kellie, with Blue the dog
