Birchwood Lodge Dog Boarding Kennels and Cattery is devoted to providing a safe, secure and happy temporary home for your pets, in Woldingham, Surrey, while you relax and take a short break.
Our boarding kennels are designed to make your dog feel right at home. We offer services to make sure your best friend is properly looked after, that way you can enjoy your break with peace of mind.
Here at Birchwood, we take pride in our first-rate boarding kennels. We care about dogs and hope to reflect this in our facilities. Here are a few more details about our accommodation.
Each kennel is supplied with cosy vet bed blankets. We have a plentiful supply of bedding and toys, but you have the chance to leave their favourite toy and blanket with them during their stay if you wish.
Our boarding kennels are cleaned out daily, with a fresh set of blankets provided. Fresh water is supplied every morning and topped up throughout the day.
The dogs also have access to their own outside covered exercise run and large grass area; perfect for getting some additional exercise and making friends!
At Birchwood Lodge, we offer a range of pet care services which ensure your pet's stay is as pleasant as possible. Here are the services we provide, so your pet receives the treatment they get at home.
Medication: We are pleased to administer prescribed medication to both cats and dogs at Birchwood Lodge, for no extra charge. We do however request that you supply us with a detailed schedule for the administration of their medication.
Food: At Birchwood Lodge we provide pet food for the duration of your pet's stay and stock a variety of both cat and dog food. We provide both wet and dry food for cats and also sell dog food. Let us know your pet's favourite on your arrival and we will see if we stock it.
Pet's Belongings: Everything your pet requires for his/her stay at Birchwood Lodge is provided. We have a plentiful supply of bedding and toys for both cats and dogs. However if you wish to bring your pet's own toys we will be pleased to let them have them during their stay.
Dog bathing and nail clipping: As part of our pet care services, we also provide bathing, nail clipping and general brushing for dogs here at Birchwood. Please ask for a quote when you leave your dog with us.
Pet Inoculations: We ask at Birchwood that your pet is fully inoculated against certain viruses.
Birchwood Lodge Dog Boarding Kennels and Cattery also offers a home for your feline friends. Located away from the kennels, our lovely cattery is, without a doubt, cat heaven! We take great care of your cats by offering a range of services to ensure they feel right at home.
For over 25 years, Birchwood Lodge's staff have dedicated their time to offering intensive pet care for your pets. With 50 years' experience between them, who better to entrust with looking after your cherished pet?

“I had to leave my recently arrived rescue dog, Tina, in kennels at short notice. I was concerned as she was nervous and just getting used to being with me and going out on walks and I thought that being in kennels might affect her negatively. I needn’t have worried. Andy was great at giving me updates on how she was doing while I was away. She spent 10 days at Birchwood Lodge and when she came home she was much better socialised both with people and with other dogs. She had obviously had a great time. She’s just now back from her second visit and I wouldn’t want her to go anywhere else. Highly recommend.”

“I found out that the owner of this boarding kennels rescues the animals that have been dumped on him and i rehomed a wonderful Dutch Shepherd named Troy. Andy (the owner)was very polite and concerned to who i was and where this dog would live. Since recieving Troy last year June 2015 i have boarded Troy at Birchwood once to go on holiday and was extremley happy with the care my dog recieved.
