Happy Buddies - Dog Training, Canine Hoopers and Dog Walking in Surrey

I’m Amanda, owner of Happy Buddies. I love being around dogs and it seems the feeling is mutual! Dogs are a big part of my family life and as a dog trainer and experienced professional dog walker they also play a huge part in my working life.

Puppy and Dog Training
I have been trained by Gwen Bailey, an internationally renowned dog trainer, behaviourist and author. 
I am also a proud member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a member of the Pet Professional Guild (The Association for Force-Free Pet Professionals) and a Registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC).  I am an advocate of only kind and fair methods so no pain, no force and no fear.



During my puppy group or 121 courses, your puppy will learn through kind, effective and fun training methods, obedience basics and how to socialise and interact properly with other puppies and humans (including children). I also offer follow on training courses and behavioural sessions for older puppies, junior and adult dogs.



All training advice and techniques provided are kind, positive and force-free. This ensures that the session is enjoyed by both human and canine and that your dog is successful with their learning through the use of reward and encouragement.

Canine Hoopers World Classes
Hoopers is one of the fastest growing dog sports in the UK!

It is a really good fun, low impact sport where you and your dog work as a team to navigate a course made up of hoops, barrels and tunnels. 

All the equipment is at ground level, so no jumping or climbing is involved and courses are flowing so no tight twists or turns

Dog Walking
I provide a friendly, happy dog walking service for busy dog owners in Reigate, Redhill and close surrounding areas. Walks will last 1 hour and be full of enrichment for your dog(s). They will involve both physical exercise and mental stimulation for your dog (appropriate to each dog's needs).



Walks will always be in safe places such as woodland, heathland, parks and countryside that are away from traffic and roads. Dogs are walked in small groups of 4 or less – this allows for more individual bonding/play time and enables me to cater for all individual needs.

Training and Qualifications
I have Diploma qualifications in Puppy Development, Health, Care and Coaching, Canine Coaching, Dog Walking and Canine Care, Holistic Canine Behaviour.

Level 3 Award qualification in Animal Communication and a certificate qualification in Canine First Aid
    I have an up-to-date certificate in First Aid for Dogs.



Insurance
    I am fully insured by Cliverton for all Training, Dog Walking, Home Pet Pop In and Dog Photography services.  My insurance includes Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Care, Custody and Control of Animals and Pet Taxi insurance. I am Police Checked (Disclosure and Barring Service – DBS cleared).
