Oxwich is one of the best known beaches on the Gower Peninsula.
Accessed via the nearby village of Oxwich, the setting features 2.5 miles of sandy beach, dunes and woodland.
The beach and bay have an expansive feel, with plenty of visitors enjoying the sand in the summer season.
A cafe at the western end of the beach offers drinks, snacks and all that a day tripper or holidaymaker might need.
Behind the beach lies Oxwich Nature Reserve, an area of salt and freshwater marshes, oak and ash woodlands and dunes.
It's home to a variety of bird life and dune plants.
