Delta One Canines are committed to providing training and behavioural advice to dog owners that is effective, acceptable and affordable.
We firmly believe that education of dog owners results in better behaved, manageable dogs that have a greater quality of life than they may otherwise have had. Dog ownership should be a pleasure for all concerned.
Bob Haynes
Delta One Canines principal instructor, Bob Haynes, retired after completing thirty years service with the Police Force. Much of this time was spent as a dog handler and instructor. He has trained innumerable police, security, specialist search and companion dogs and handlers.
He has successfully competed in Service Trials, Working Trials and Obedience Competitions at Championship level. Additionally he has succesfully exhibited in the show ring. He is a consultant for Dogs Trust.

Behavioural Consultations
Delta One Canines are able to offer a behavioural consultation, which will lead to a much more in depth understanding of the cause of the problem. Once the cause is established, a behaviour modification programme can be put into place to deal effectively with this root cause.
Puppy Consultations
Bob Haynes was previously in charge of the Police Dog Breeding Programme & Puppy Walking Scheme, therefore puppy rearing is his particular forte. He is able to provide owners of new puppies with all the information they will need to successfully rear their puppies and ensure that they do not create problems for themselves when the puppies mature into adulthood.
Basic dog training
After completion of this course owners will have control of their dogs and will have been shown the pleasure that owning a well behaved dog can bring. For many owners this level of control is quite sufficient. For owners wishing to progress to other aspects of dog training we can offer much more…..
