Pooch-patrol - Dog Walking Service in East Grinstead, West Sussex
My name is Anna, and I have a soft spot for dogs!
Being a dog owner myself I know how important it is to find the right place for your dog to stay. This gives you peace of mind while you are away and reassurance that your dog will be relaxed and stress free. I decided to set up this business as for the last nineteen years I have been flying as cabin crew for an airline out of Gatwick and have two children aged twelve and ten. It’s been an amazing experience but I think it is time to hang up my wings for good. I’ve decided to use my customer service experience and my love of dogs to begin my dog business Pooch Patrol.
I aim to provide a home from home environment with your dog getting plenty of fuss, walks and cuddles. I’m CRB checked, licensed and fully insured. We live in the village of Copthorne which is only ten minutes away from Gatwick Airport and Junction 10 on the M23, ideal for holiday drop-offs.
There is some beautiful Sussex countryside close by and plenty of walks. We also have a large enclosed rear garden for your dog to enjoy and inside there are plenty of sofas to lie on and room to play.
I am happy to take multiple dogs from the same family; however, places for overnight go quickly, so booking in advance is highly recommended. If your dog is staying with us then a Pooch Patrol ID tag with our contact details on must be worn.
In the event of any dog becoming unwell we will endeavour to transport to your stated vet or in an emergency our local vet. All veterinary costs are to be placed on the clients account. If there are any medical problems owners need to sign a disclaimer and leave at least two other contact details or people we can call in an emergency.
Please ensure the dog vaccination card is up to date and left with the dog on drop off, with any food, treats and bedding. Bringing their own food will ensure the least disruption to their diet and routine as possible. Also they need to be flea and worm treated.
Dog Walking: Dogs will have a walk according to their needs and be provided with fresh water en route. Dog walks are normally between the hours of 11:00am-3:00pm (outside of these times can be arranged).
Dog Boarding: If your dog needs company for the day while you are at work, or if it’s an unexpected meeting or hospital visit, then day boarding is ideal. We can discuss times when you come for your trial visit. (Anything after 6:00pm will be charged the overnight rate).
Overnight and Holiday Stays: We provide a home from home for your dogs and they will enjoy being in a family environment. They can enjoy 2-3 walks a day depending on their needs. Back at home they can relax in the house or play in the garden.
Pick up on departure date must be before 10.30am. Any time after this until 6:00pm, will be charged at the daily rate.
Personal Chaperone for dogs
We all know that organising a special event such as a wedding or big birthday party can be stressful and a lot of hard work. For most people having a dog is like having an extra member of the family and for many dog lovers their canine companion is their best friend and a very important member of their pack.
I can offer a fully bespoke service with a flexible plan that will suit both you and your dog. Giving your dog their very own personal chaperone where I can assist and supervise your dog throughout the event.
