Wagging Tails - Dog Home Boarding in West Sussex and Surrey
Family Run Dog Boarding Company
I had never managed to find the perfect solution to the problem of where they should go when we went away, and didn't feel kennels would suit them, but recently was very happy to discover Wagging Tails and to give them a happy holiday of their own with a lovely carer and her family. They were very well looked after and settled quickly from day one as it was very much a 'home from home' environment with the same routine they have with us.
I then became intrigued with the franchise opportunity and as luck would have it there was an opening in my area. I am now taking on the Wagging Tails RH Branch and am looking forward to adding to the team of dog loving carers throughout the RH postcode area in Surrey and Sussex, so that more dogs can enjoy being part of a loving home environment, while their owners can relax on holiday with complete peace of mind knowing their dogs are happy and well cared for.
About Our Carers
All our carers come from various walks of life and are experienced with different breeds of dogs they have all been vetted, interviewed and assessed. Where necessary our Carers are licensed by their local Council to comply with the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963 and are fully insured through Wagging Tails Pet Business Insurance. I match each owner's dogs with the most suitable carers and insist on a 'sniffing out meeting' taking place at the Carers home before the board. I believe it is very important for owners to meet the chosen carer to gain peace of mind and feel confident their best friend will have a great holiday! I always aim to place dogs back with the same carer for subsequent holidays as the dogs and Carers build a strong bond.
We are very proud to be recommended by many Vets, Dog Trainers, Groomers and Owners.
Our caliber of Carers and dedication to giving owner's dogs a stress free alternative to kennels makes Wagging Tails the ideal holiday home for all dogs including rescue dogs, puppies and elderly dogs.
Our Aim is to ensure that owners can go away safe in the knowledge that their dogs are being loved and cared for and for all dogs boarding with Wagging Tails Carers to get a holiday of their own, full of love, exercise and those all important cuddles!
“Dear Sue, We are so happy we chose Wagging Tails and that our little pup had a home away from home with Angela! He was only 9 months old and is quite timid in new situations, but he seemed to have settled right in at Angela's. When we picked him up he was SO excited to see us, but equally he kept running back to Angela as if to tell her... Look who's here! Once home he seemed to be happy to go back to his/our routine. We would definitely use Wagging Tails and Angela again when going away. Thank you for a brilliant service! RH Owner”

“Dear Sue, We are so pleased we went to Wagging Tails to help us find a carer for Poppy. Alexandra and family looked after Poppy really well and they made her feel at home and took her on lovely walks. The photos from the family took during Poppy's stay show how she settled down and also enjoyed her holiday too! From now on we will not be using Kennels, we much prefer home boarding! “Wagging Tails is aptly named as it seems that Pickle's tail didn't stop wagging the whole time that she was with both of her carers! (Two different families in quick succession) Whilst she was pleased to see us on our return, she had clearly had a lovely time and would have been happy to stay longer. We are delighted to have found Wagging Tails - a much preferable option to kennels with the reassurance of checks and information exchanged by both parties with Sue as a very efficient go between. Will definitely use again and recommend to dog owning friends. Thank you! Sue, Surrey”
