Training
121 training sessions are tailored to make sure that you and your dog have the tools to help you understand and communicate with each other better and navigate the world harmoniously.

121 sessions can cover a multitude of training skills, including tricks and obedience, recall, lead walking, crate-training, jumping up and engagement/connection-building. 121s are suitable for any age and stage, whether you have a new puppy, new rescue dog or want to refresh your adult dog's training!

After our 121 session, you will receive a training plan you can implement going onwards, and follow-up sessions will help you progress your dog's training, introduce new skills and troubleshoot any issues you may have.

Behaviour Consultations
Behaviour consultations are different from training courses in that training is about teaching a dog a new skill (like lead walking or recall), whereas behaviour consultations help to reduce or eliminate problematic behaviour (like fear/anxiety, separation anxiety, excessive barking, aggression, reactivity, handling problems and more).

Behaviour consultations vary from person to person and dog to dog, depending on the behaviour you are looking to change. The process will often start with a call or email conversation to discuss your dog and the problems you are experiencing before meeting you and your dog for a consultation. I will give you a behaviour modification plan after your consultation for you to use as a reference guide going onwards. Most behaviour packages will require follow-up consultations to monitor and further your dog’s progress, and email support is provided between consultations.

Common problematic behaviours:
Fear of people or dogs
Reactivity or aggression towards people or dogs on walks
Reactivity towards people visiting the home
Resource guarding behaviour
Separation anxiety
Handling problems
Prey drive
Dog-dog or dog-cat relationship problems in the home
Adult toilet training
Aggression
Abnormal repetitive behaviours

Reviews

“11 weeks of back to back training for our extremely high energy and naughty Vizsla. Got to say that we are exhausted but that's nothing to do with the training, Paula was a godsend and not only were her lessons extremely useful, well taught and informative but she always had time after class to discuss additional problems/barriers etc. Never felt like we were imposing and when she went to the kitchen to top herself.....up with water we all lost it laughing. Great times, met some other wonderful pups and would definitely recommend Paula to anyone needing to tame their favorite pet. Thanks again from George, Leanne and Sushi. xx”

“Really enjoyed Paula’s classes. All the little tips and training methods helped massively. It’s all about the technique and what we do which Paula helped us understand. Loved all her tips and notes she sent out each week too. ”

“We have had a fantastic time with our Collie, Patch. He has throughly enjoyed his time learning new skills and we have learnt so much too. I cannot reccomend enough how beneficial the classes have been and how amazing the tutor has been too. We cannot wait to progress further. ”

“Riley our labrador has just completed the puppy training course with Sandy & we feel it has really helped to lay down the foundations to have a well behaved but happy dog. As owners we needed much more training than Riley & we also took advantage of the 1 2 1 service where we received really good help & advice on our car travel problems.”
