Hi, my name is Emma and I love dogs. I own and operate an extensive dog walking and pet sitting service in Chippenham and other parts of Wiltshire.

Walks are flexible and arranged to suit the needs of both you and your dog.

I can also arrange home visits to care for cats, dogs or any other small animals to ensure your pets have all the care and attention they need.



Dog Walking
Walks are flexible and arranged to suit the needs of both you and your dog. Group walks are available, limited to 4 dogs to ensure each has plenty of attention. All dogs are returned home clean and happy! Walks vary in distance, depending on each dog. They include routes through open fields and woodland.

Popular areas for dogwalking include: Chippenham, Kellaways, Seagry, Castlecombe and Corsham.
As safety is top priority, I always walk them well away from roads and traffic so that your dog has the freedom to explore. All dogs are exercised off the lead unless you prefer otherwise.

Cat & Dog Visits
Perfect for pets that prefer to remain in the comfort of their own home whilst their owners are away. I can arrange visits throughout the day. Visits are as frequent as required and I will work to your specific instructions.

Visits Include:
Feeding with fresh food and water - Cleaning bedding areas and litter trays - Lots of cuddles and affection!
Basic grooming can also be provided if required and I am happy to administer medication if necessary.



Small Animal Visits
For our other furry and feathered friends! I am confident in handling a variety of animals and will ensure that during my visit fresh water, food and clean bedding is provided. I will also carry out basic health checks to ensure all your pets are healthy and happy. Basic grooming can also be provided.

I also offer to perform security checks in the home such as:
Opening and closing curtains - Collecting post - Watering plants - Putting out the rubbish bins - Turning lights on and off



About Me
After completing a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management at Wiltshire College, I decided to study dogs. I am fascinated by dog behaviour, training and canine nutrition. I have completed both a theory and practical course in dog training and behaviour with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and I am

currently studying Canine Nutrition with the Animal Behaviour Centre. I have completed a Canine First Aid Course and continuing to learn all there is to know about dogs.



Since I began It’s a Dog’s Life 6 months ago, business has been breeding! My customers trust me with the animals, confident in my experience and knowing they are in good hands. Having worked at both a boarding kennel and dog day care centre, I am fully aware of the importance of exercise and stimulation in a dog’s life. As well as improving health and fitness, exercise can relieve stress, boredom and help to avoid unwanted behaviour in dogs.

I have worked with a variety of animals and love them all! The happiness, welfare and safety of your pets is of paramount importance to me. I am fully insured and offer friendly, flexible and reliable pet care tailored to suit both you and your pet.
