Salisbury Centre
Once the history and heritage of the city and surrounding area has been explored you may wish to wander around the many interesting and diverse shops or perhaps peruse the twice-weekly markets. The Salisbury City Hall Entertainment Centre regularly hosts national shows, local events, festivals, lectures, concerts and exhibitions. Also, if you are a horse-racing enthusiast, be sure to time your visit to coincide with one of the meetings at the local racecourse. If requiring refreshment, Salisbury has a number of excellent restaurants and pubs to welcome the hungry or thirsty traveler. Salisbury is also an ideal base for exploring this part of the world. The countryside is right on your doorstep - as is Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral.
