Flamborough Head

Flamborough Head - Dog Friendly Beach in Flamborough, Yorkshire

For this Autumn visit, I called in to RSPB Bempton Cliffs, just up the coast from Flamborough Head.

The cliffs here are considerably higher than at Flamborough Head and this spot comprises the most accessible mainland seabird colony in the country.



The most popular time to visit is between May and June, but there is activity here throughout the year.

On this occasion, I witnessed pink-footed geese in formation overhead, during my interview with Sarah.

Bempton Cliffs themselves are striking and the RSPB Visitor Centre is beautifully laid out, with plenty of knowledgeable and friendly help at hand.
