Robin Hood's Bay - Dog Friendly Beach in Yorkshire

Robin Hood's Bay is steeped in history and even has a smugglers' tunnel running right under the village.

It's also part of the "Dinosaur Coast" and considered to be a geological wonderland. However, families are also found here, usually on the sandy parts of the beach.



The narrow, winding access road draws you down to the beach and this is now a popular visitor attraction, with many holiday homes.

There are good local pubs and restaurants in the area, as well as moorings for small boats.
