Orchard Lodge - Dog Friendly B & B in Scarborough, Yorkshire

Orchard Lodge Bed & Breakfast is owned and managed by Andrew and Lucinda Jenkins. After many years working and travelling around the UK in the education industry, they decided it was time to set down some roots and find something they could work at together.

"After looking all over the country and even overseas for the right business, we came to Scarborough on holiday to see friends for the weekend. Being married in Scarborough and coming back made us realise we wanted to be back in Yorkshire and 2 weeks later bought Orchard Lodge! We absolutely love running the business together and look forward to welcoming you too."

Rooms
Our spacious en-suite rooms all have views across the fields to Scarborough and the North Yorkshire Moors beyond. All rooms have Continental Superking or twin beds and we only use the best white linen, have complimentary bath sheets, luxury toiletries and hair dryers.

The B&B rooms all have brand new room controllable central heating and powerful showers in the en-suite. All rooms have quality drinks making facilities and a flat screen television. A fridge is provided for guest use.

Food
Our AA Award winning breakfasts are cooked using local produce where possible and we use only the best quality ingredients. We raise our rescue chickens in the orchard for free range eggs and our meats are from Trotters, a local free range farm. We have homemade apple juice and jams made from the fruit grown in our gardens. And our honey is from Bayview Bees, in Flixton village. 

Gardens & Dogs
Outside, there is lots of space to sit in our gardens on summers days or relax in the tranquillity of the orchard. We have a private car park for all our guests. For walkers and cyclists, we have a drying room and secure storage for equipment. Oh! and we love well behaved dogs at Orchard Lodge. They are welcome on a lead in all parts of the Guest house. They will receive a welcome pack and come to breakfast where they receive a complimentary sausage.
