Puppy Dog Tails was established in 2017 by Lynda Hammond, and is the place to go for five star dog and puppy training. As mum to several four-legged friends, large and small, she has an understanding of the highs (and occasional lows) of owning dogs!

Lynda welcomes all kinds of dog: rescue, reactive, young or old. Workshops on agility, scent work, recall, loose lead, kids-around-dogs and much more, are available from spring to autumn. Social and life skills group classes are available all year round.

You are welcome to join one of our group classes and meet like-minded dog owners, book a one-to-one consultation with Lynda or try a combination of both at her four acre, rural training centre and indoor facility in North Kent.

Good Citizen Awards
Lynda is a qualified trainer for The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme (GCTDS) – the largest dog and puppy training programme in the UK.

This dog and puppy training scheme is open to all dogs, young or old, pedigree or crossbreed. These courses promote the responsibilities of dog ownership by equipping owners with the knowledge they need to train their dogs for everyday life situations.

Hire our dog walking fields
Set in a beautiful, peaceful location with views of the River Medway and surrounding area, we are proud to offer our enclosed four-acre field and one acre paddock, for private hire.

The fields are accessed by a roadside gate, with a second secure gate on each field, 50 yards from the main road. There is parking for up to six vehicles. Surrounded by fencing, the fields offer a safe place for dogs to exercise – on or off the lead.

Paths are regularly cut into the grass during the spring, summer and autumn, while some areas are left to grow naturally, ensuring the best possible experience for you and your dog.

There is seating available on both of our fields, as well as dedicated dog waste bins. The bottom end of our ‘upper field’ is mostly flat, providing good disabled access.

Booking either of our dog walking fields is via a rolling, client-access system. Good timekeeping is essential to ensure the field is not locked when you arrive. Availability is from dawn until dusk throughout the year.
